Florida LLC · Property claims, policyholder side

Document it
properly, first.

Claims are decided on the file. Photographs taken the right way, dates recorded, correspondence kept — the work that feels tedious in week one is what the whole claim rests on in month three.

How we work

Policyholder side, and licensed work stays licensed

ZEA Adjusting LLC is a limited liability company registered in the State of Florida, with registration details on public record with the Florida Division of Corporations. We work for policyholders, never for insurers.

Public adjusting is a licensed activity in Florida, carried out only under a current licence, and our licence number appears on this site and in every written agreement. We are not a law firm and give no legal advice. Nobody can promise that a claim will be paid or settled at a particular figure, and anyone who does is telling you something they cannot know.

Frequently asked

The questions we get most

What does a public adjuster do?

Works for the policyholder rather than the insurer: documenting the loss, reading the policy, preparing the claim file and following the claim through. Licensing is required in Florida and our licence number is on this site.

What does it cost?

The fee is set out in a written agreement before any work starts, within the limits Florida law sets. You will never be charged for the initial review.

Can you guarantee my claim gets paid?

No, and nobody honest will. We can make sure the file is complete, consistent and submitted on time, which is what we control.

My claim was denied. Is it too late?

It depends on the policy and the deadlines involved. Send us the denial and the policy, and we'll tell you honestly whether there's anything to do.

Do you give legal advice?

No. We are not a law firm. If a claim reaches a point where legal advice is needed, we'll say so and you can engage an attorney.

Do you work with insurers?

No. We work for policyholders only.

Not sure where your claim stands?

A free review of the loss, the policy and the next step. No obligation.
